Key Duties & Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role will be to co-ordinate the quality assurance processes associated with the delivery of RSL vocational qualifications.
Duties will include:
- Co-ordinate allocation of centre queries to Subject Specific Experts (SSE) where necessary
- Co-ordinate communications with Senior Subject Experts (SSE), Standards Verifiers (SVs) and External Assessors (EA)
- Co-ordinate training activities and response to standardisation exercises for Senior Subject Experts (SSE), Standards Verifiers (SVs) and External Assessors (EA)
- Collate Senior Subject Expert reports for moderation and external assessment, analyse responses and report to the Head of Quality (VQ)
- Co-ordinate the collation of materials for standardisation and centre support.
- Co-ordinate the special considerations process, in line with decisions from the Special Considerations Panel
- Co-ordinate the Enquiries About Results (EARs) and appeals process, in line with decisions from the Appeals Panel.
- Collate data and analyse trends in units delivered in centres
- Carry out reviews of existing processes and document new process, in collaboration with the Head of Quality (VQ)
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree-level education or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Previous experience in administration or coordination roles is a plus.
- Knowledge of the education or awarding body sector
