Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Communications and working in close collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Manager and product team, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement and manage RSL Awards’ product marketing and content strategy across five exciting brands. This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly motivated and results driven marketing team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • Conduct Market Research and Analysis: Understand needs, preferences, and market
    trends.
  • Develop Product Positioning and Messaging: Create compelling positioning and messaging.
  • Manage Content Creation: Develop and oversee marketing content.
  • Enable Sales Team: Provide tools, training, and information for effective selling.
  • Engage and Advocate for Customers: Build relationships and gather feedback and testimonials.
  • Plan and Execute Campaigns: Drive awareness, engagement, and adoption through various channels.
  • Track and Report Performance: Analyse campaign metrics and make data-driven improvements.
  • Ensure Compliance and Standards Adherence: Follow industry regulations and stay updated on education policies.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and key competencies:

Key Competencies

  • Demonstrated marketing and communication skills with relevant professional qualifications/training
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing landscape
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Possess creative flair and a good understanding of the creative process
  • Provide clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content
  • The ability to think like an educator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it
  • Experience of using CRM systems is advantageous
  • A good understanding of SEO
  • Fluency in web analytics tools and social media marketing applications
  • Experience of creating content for the education sector a plus
  • Resilience and the ability to respond positively to pressure
  • Knowledge of the education sector and best marketing practice
  • Demonstrable on and offline marketing experience
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing measurement
  • Experienced in global content and editorial marketing, showing awareness of differing requirements and tone of voice dependent on cultural variations
  • Ability to communicate with clarity to non- technical stakeholders
  • Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
