Specifically, this entails Face-to-face / Live Stream exams in the UK / Ireland and Recorded Digital exams worldwide to ensure these are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Head of Operations with any reasonable requests, acting as a point of contact for the rest of the exams team.
  • To take direct responsibility for allocated international centres and oversee others allocated to Exams Officers.
  • To act as the lead for the UK GME sub-team, acting as a mentor to other colleagues as required.
  • To ensure that there are sufficient sessions to satisfy demand for international face-to-face (f2f) and live stream exams (LSE) and that dates are booked, exams are scheduled, and information is issued to customers.
  • Booking and liaising with examiners for international tours and UK dates.
  • To deal with customer enquiries (notably scheduling changes) and liaise with centre representatives as appropriate.
  • To liaise with the Operations Resource and Process Manager regarding allocation of examiners to sessions.
  • To ensure that results and certificates are issued according to published timescales.
  • Responsible for dealing with any enquiries, data entry or schedule changes in international locations.
  • Answering general enquiries and candidate requests by phone and email for the allocated region or to stand in for other Exams Officers when not available.

  • To undertake any other duties at the request of the line manager which are commensurate with the role, including project work and absence cover
  • To comply with the policies and procedures of the Company at all times.
  • To undertake training as necessary in line with the development of the post.
  • To participate fully in the performance management process and undertake Continuing Professional Development as required.
  • To achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development within agreed timescales.
  • To ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act, 1998.

 

Person Specification

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level (or comparable experience)
  • An organised and efficient administrator with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills
  • IT literacy and confidence
  • Ability to foster supportive and constructive relationships with colleagues and customers
  • A great team player, but also able to take the lead and work independently
