These awards focus on applied practice. Learners plan, deliver and formally review a wellbeing programme with at least one individual.
They do not train counsellors or therapists. They prepare learners to deliver structured wellbeing activities within defined boundaries and to recognise when referral to specialist support is required.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, relevant experience in the subject area to be delivered in the classroom is required. We recommend that learners are at least 16 years of age at the time of certification.
What’s Involved?
Each award consists of two units. Learners complete planning work, deliver a wellbeing programme and submit evidence digitally for external assessment.
20 Guided Learning Hours | 30 Hours Total Qualification Time | 3 Credits
Level 2 introduces the foundations of wellbeing practice. It develops understanding of core wellbeing principles, the factors that influence physical and psychological health, and the theories that underpin structured wellbeing activities. Learners are assessed on their ability to:
– Describe core wellbeing principles and underpinning theories
– Identify factors that impact wellbeing
– Plan a structured wellbeing activity
– Identify risks and relevant organisational procedures
– Deliver a planned activity
– Reflect on performance and identify improvements
Assessment includes:
– Written or video evidence for Unit 1, up to 1500 words or 10 minutes
– A recorded wellbeing activity, 15 to 30 minutes, with a witness statement
– A written or video evaluation, up to 1000 words or 7 minutes

Level 3 moves from single activity planning to full programme design and evaluation. It requires learners to develop a structured wellbeing programme informed by theory, participant needs and clear outcome setting. Greater emphasis is placed on risk assessment, safeguarding responsibilities and professional boundaries, alongside detailed evaluation of impact and the creation of a clear action plan for improvement. Learners are assessed on their ability to:
– Explain wellbeing theory and its practical application
– Develop a structured wellbeing programme for an individual or group
– Collate participant information to inform planning
– Prepare a risk assessment
– Deliver the programme using appropriate techniques
– Analyse performance and create an action plan for improvement
Assessment includes:
– Written or video evidence for Unit 1, up to 1500 words or 10 minutes
– A recorded wellbeing programme, 15 to 30 minutes, with a witness statement
– A written or video evaluation, up to 1000 words or 7 minutes, including analysis of impact and a clear action plan for improvement
