Not only is this a great opportunity for Music Teachers to network but this also allows them to receive beneficial advice and support from our key industry partners, including; Steinberg, Casio, Yamaha Education, Musicians' Union, Hal Leonard & Music Gurus.
Leading industry professionals including examiners, teachers, business entrepreneurs and many more will be sharing their expertise and experience through engaging workshops and seminars throughout the day.
Topics for discussion will include:
Teaching Technology. UK Education Strategy Manager, Dan Francis will lead a session with Steinberg on the approaches teaching music technology to groups and individuals. Discussing the equipment needed and tools available to help any musician expand their teaching to include technology.
Preparing students for Examinations. Senior examiner Dr Bruce Darlington will explain the common issues experienced by examiners and how to prepare students to make the most of their examination. This includes looking at areas such as interpretation and improvisation.
Piano and Keys 2019. There has been a great sense of anticipation for the upcoming Piano and Keys 2019 syllabus and we are delighted to announce Teacher Conference 2019 attendees will be first to get inclusive insight to the new material including artists, tracks and MUCH MORE!
