Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Music Theory, Music Production.
So here is a little bit about me as a musician and a teacher. I am an enthusiastic and passionate music teacher with over 20 odd years of playing experience and over 9 years of classroom teaching experience. I personally started playing the guitar (classical guitar) and piano at about 13/14 years old. I’ve obtained my grade 7 in classical guitar and grade 1 in piano. When I left secondary school I attended the Brit School of Performing Arts and Technology, where I started studied music technology and taught myself to play Bass guitar and Drums. I soon went on to Kingston University to study Popular Music and during my second year I transferred to California State Long Beach to study Jazz and Composition. After graduating, I continued to play, in a number of bands, produce my own music and did a long of charity concerts before finally going on to become a qualified Music teacher. I have been teaching music for about 9 years now in the classroom and have a lot of experience in key stage 3 and 4 (11 to 16) music education. I have been very successful with lots of my students going on to study music at college and then to university to study music degrees.
