I came across Mick through picking up one of his cards in a music shop and i am so pleased i made that call!
I had been trying to teach myself guitar and that wasn`t going so well until i started having lessons with Mick, he made the lessons so enjoyable and explained everything easily so that it was clear what i needed to do.
It was the best decision i have made and the improvement in my playing and general music knowledge is far exceeded my expectations and to add to this i have learnt how to use Cubase which has also helped in my guitar playing! Bonus.

I met Mick several years ago at a ‘Guitar Retreats’ weekend and quickly understood he was a great guitarist, excellent teacher and an all round good guy.
I’ve been playing guitar, badly, on and off, for years. You know how it is, trying to learn songs, riffs and lead breaks, etc., without having the necessary skills and techniques to execute. Mick was able to instantly spot my mistakes, rectify them with good technique advice and supplement all of this with a nice mix of exercises, simple theory and guitar licks. I moved forward very quickly. YouTube can’t do this !!
Lessons with Mick are an excellent investment for any aspiring guitarist, no matter what their ability !!
"I came to playing guitar in my 60’s; I thought it was time to have bash and found Mick the perfect teacher and mentor. Playing and learning is always a highlight. I’m picking up relevant music theory, developing playing techniques and Cubase electronic music.
Cubase is great for making backing tracks to play along with and music for videos. We switch freely between these areas enhancing what’s done in the lessons. I fully recommend the friendly approach and supportive way Mick teaches and encourages. He has decades of experience and covers all musical styles. "
Was introduced to Mick through a music shop, and with Micks guidance, patience and experience with the guitar, i have achieved more than i thought possible,
and to actually record some tracks was something i'd never considered.
The magic of Cubase amazed me and with Micks knowledge expertise of Cubase the tracks sounded amazing, but more than that it's Micks friendly personality, approachabilty and diversity of techniques that make him such an excellent tutor and friend.
