NEARLY FULLY BOOKED - STILL SPACES FOR MUSIC PRODUCTION AND DEAF/BSL MUSIC TUITION I am a friendly and patient tutor, music graduate and composer with over 10 years experience in the industry. I have composed and produced music for film and television, including for Cannes Film Festival and 4Bi9 Media's 'So Far So Hood' (featured on MTV). I am also happy to teach non-grade music production and have helped a variety of artists create their own EPs and albums. I have worked with students privately and delivered on behalf of other organisations, including a song-writing workshop at Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead, an electric guitar master-class at Sound It Out Studios, Walsall and a composition workshop at Frogmore Paper Mill. My teaching approach is adaptable and I make sure that content is appropriate for each individual student. You can watch me play, hear my music and read more here: http://www.tomhunt.co.uk. Steve, music production and guitar student
‘In just a few lessons Tom was able to take me through the basics of using music editing software (or DAW), applying effective drum beats and guitar effects for my songs and even applying advanced techniques such as audio panning and equalising. I have now recorded three of my own songs at home and am looking forward to doing more recording and lessons with Tom to improve my capability.’
Trevor, Head Teacher, Roman Fields School, Hemel Hempstead
‘Tom has worked with two of our autistic young people and has been very successful. He has an innate ability to tailor his teaching to the individual which has resulted in both boys progressing at a very rapid rate. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Tom’s services to any head teacher.’
Adam, guitar student
‘I have been taking lessons from Tom for a couple of months and I have noticed a huge difference in my technical ability, I now have a good grasp of basic theory and look forward to my lessons.’
Gareth, guitar student
‘After a 15 year layoff from playing Tom helped kick my technique back into shape and improve my musical theory knowledge in short order. We have covered a variety of styles including Blues, Rock, Metal, and Gypsy Jazz and I thoroughly enjoy our lessons. He is always happy to adapt his teaching towards what you are most interested in learning. Highly recommended!’
