Piano, Ukulele, Music Theory.
Classically trained flautist, improvisor and educator, with plenty of experience teaching individually and in groups using a holistically creative approach to music-making, combining performance techniques, composition and improvisation. Lessons are tailored to individual needs. Get in touch for a trial lesson and to discuss your vision of your music journey, whether you are an absolute beginner or if you would like to refresh your skills.
As well as being an accomplished musician in her own right (as an internet search for 'Laura Ciofi will testify) she is also a patient, dedicated and inspirational instrument teacher. Since starting at Bishop John Robinson Church of England Primary School she has taught instrument lessons to classes of children to a very high standard. She sets the bar high and encourages children and adults alike to achieve. She was instrumental (pardon the pun) in organising a hugely successful music festival in which the whole school performed. I recommend her unreservedly. (Head Master, Primary School SE28)
