Biography

After studying vocals for 9 years, Emilia Jess works as a professional vocalist and vocal coach. She has performed at many events including BBC events charity, fundraisers, festivals and weddings. Emilia also has 4 years experience in teaching professional vocals and songwriting. Emilia recently graduated Leeds Conservatoire with a BA Honors in Music where she has studied under many leading voice professionals including a practitioner of Primal Sound and Vocal Health- Dane Chalfin and the head of the National Voice Association Craig Lees. Born and raised in Milton Keynes, Emilia Jess completed all grades in vocals through Trinity Guildhall and The Associated Board of the Royal College of Music. Despite choosing to focus mainly on contemporary singing, Emilia has achieved these grades in classical singing and therefore can perform, and teach, in either styles upon request. Growing as an artist, Emilia has previously performed at The Stables Milton Keynes, BBC radio events, Fundraisers such as the Midnight Moo, festivals, weddings and charity events such as Willen Hospice's Lights of Love. Emilia has also supported upcoming artists such as Off Colour and Hannah Lamb. She also works along side professional musicians working to create and share her own music. EJ Vocals allows individuals and companies to find professional entertainment or coaching with inspiration and excellence. With Emilia's endless experience, vocal knowledge and industry network, Emilia can offer a unique experience if that be through performance or tutoring.
