Biography

I am a fully qualified experienced teacher of music, having held senior management posts in schools and colleges in the United Kingdom, Spain and Gibraltar. From 2012, until the present, I have become self employed primarily as a private , freelance instrumental teacher of Piano/Keyboard, Music Theory, Vocals and GCSE and "A" Level Music. I currently have a wide range of private pupils from the ages of 7 to adults of all ages. My teaching is totally student- centred, with lessons very carefully planned to reflect the aspirations and ability of each student, from absolute beginners through to Grade 8. I prepare and enter students for all the graded examinations of Trinity College, London in Piano/Keyboard ( Rock Pop and Theory) and The Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music for Piano and Theory. As from April 2018, I will also offer preparation and enter students for Rockschool graded exams. Not all of my pupils wish to take exams and simply study for enjoyment. But whether students are preparing for exams or not, I seek to put all students at ease and create a fun , relaxed enjoyable teaching and learning environment.
