Biography

Singing lessons aren't just about the technical stuff - whatever your experience, I can guide you through the process, giving support and advice on song choices and helping you develop an effective practice routine. There's nothing quite like performing in front of a live audience...to stand confidently on that stage and have the crowd in the palm of your hand. It fills your soul. When you see amazing singers and performers it's easy to believe that it's all down to natural talent. Nothing could be further from the truth. Even great singers start somewhere and have to LEARN how to be accomplished performers. Although I am now an international performer and vocal coach, I remember how nerve-wracking it can be standing in front of an examiner or at an audition. Now, I help dozens of singers each year to pass exams and entry auditions for music and performing arts school and professional work. You will learn how to: - control your breathing - use vocal techniques correctly - increase your vocal range - bridge and strengthen your voice to eliminate gaps - add depth, character and emotion - improve stagecraft - increase confidence What's more, I break scales and exercises down into workable chunks, using techniques which makes them easier to remember. The mark of a great performance is in the delivery! You will be able to give strong, memorable performances. Get in touch now to book your consultation!
