RSL Awards CEO Takes the Helm as Chair of the Federation of Awarding Bodies
RSL Awards is proud to share that our Chief Executive Officer, Tim Bennett-Hart, has been elected as the new Chair of the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB), the industry body that champions the interests of UK awarding organisations delivering vocational and technical qualifications.

FAB brings together awarding bodies and assessment organisations to shape policy, influence government and regulatory direction, and support excellence in qualification design and delivery. Its work strengthens the collective voice of the sector as it navigates ongoing qualification reforms and evolving skills needs.
Tim joined RSL Awards in 2018 as Academic Director and became CEO in 2022. Under his leadership, RSL has continued to expand its global reach, offering graded and vocational creative arts qualifications in over 60 countries.
In his new role at FAB, Tim will help guide the federation’s strategic direction at a pivotal time for the awarding sector, supporting initiatives that enhance outcomes for learners and advance the quality and impact of vocational education across the UK.
This appointment reflects Tim’s commitment not just to excellence in creative arts assessment but to collaboration and leadership across the wider qualifications landscape.
