A few words from Dr. Fern Chantele-Carter CMgr (FCMI)
Over my career I have had a strong link with SEND, through being a Governor of a SEND School, and working on the “sounds of intent” project devising the initial concept of the “P- levels” at UCL. Since then, I have been an advocate for provision, and have worked to ensure that qualifications are available for learners most recently at RSL Awards. I am thrilled to have been asked to be a trustee of SEND-unlocked and its game-changing directory and app.

Within the Awarding Sector, Fern has been involved in the development of qualifications and assessments across a variety of sectors and subject areas and worked in quality assurance and compliance with a number of Awarding Bodies, including Ofqual, ABE, and REC and now RSL Awards.
