The PAA Musical Theatre syllabus allowed the first group performance examinations in the UK whilst assessing each candidate individually.
Acting
Compile scenes from plays or anthologies, adapted excerpts from novels, or even original scenes written by the candidates themselves to be performed in an exam as monologue(s), duologue(s) or scenes for three.
Screen Acting
Gain a practical knowledge of key camera angles utilised in TV and film production, allowing you to hone your screen acting technique and the opportunity to bring your characters to life.
Public Speaking
Communicate effectively and confidently. Candidates can perform a range of speeches, poems, raps, tongue twisters, or stories, with an opportunity to be able to perform original material.
Jazz Dance

Recorded Video Exams (RVE) may take place any time, registration is always open.
Live Stream Exams (LSE) held at an examination centre may take place with a minimum of 8 applicants within the same day. Exam centres, please inquire with your province’s representative. Registration is always open with a minimum of 8 applicants.
Face to Face Exams (F2F) are held at various exam centres throughout British Columbia, and Ontario.

In British Columbia, the Ministry of Education accredit Rockschool Grades 4, 5 and 6 for external highschool credit for grades 10, 11 and 12. All a 4 credit value. Please bring your passed Rockschool certificate to your high school counsellor and use Trax Code UROK10 (Grade 4 Rockschool), UROK11 (Grade 5 Rockschool), UROK 12 (Grade 6 Rockschool)

Late entries cannot be guaranteed and will incur a fee of $30 CAD.
Once a candidate has entered, exams can only be moved for a fee of $15 CAD and Rockschool cannot guarantee a new date in the same exam period.
Exams can only be deferred with a medical certificate otherwise candidates will need to pay the full fee of the exam again.
