INTRODUCING RiFF
The Interactive Music Practice Tool for Teachers and Students
RiFF is RSL Awards’ interactive digital sheet music player, designed to make practising music more engaging, flexible, and effective. Combining interactive arrangements, video demonstrations, audio tools, and smart practice features in one platform, RiFF helps students learn faster while giving teachers powerful tools to support lessons.
Whether you’re preparing for your next graded exam or guiding students through new repertoire, RiFF brings everything you need into one intuitive practice environment.
See How The Music Should Be Played
RiFF allows learners to study every detail of a performance through high-quality video demonstrations.
Students can view multiple camera angles, including close-ups of the hands and wider performance shots, making it easier to see the technique clearly and understand how each piece should be performed.
Flexible viewing options also support different learning needs. Layout adjustments and mirror features help left-handed players follow demonstrations more comfortably. For teachers, this means demonstrations are always available to reinforce technique between lessons.
Music That Can Adapt to the Learner
Every musician learns differently. RiFF allows users to customise how music is displayed and heard, making it easier to practise in the way that works best for them. Users can switch between multiple notation formats and adjust audio playback to focus on specific parts of the music.
Options include:
- Switching between full score, TAB, or chord charts.
- Viewing instrument visualisations to see how notes are played clearly.
- Choosing between a full mix and backing track.
- Enabling learning aids, such as note names or chord visibility
- Adjusting display settings to suit individual practice styles
These tools give both teachers and students greater flexibility in how repertoire is approached and understood.
