PAA candidates are assessed in the core areas of Musical Theatre:

The Performance

If it's a full production of a musical, or a variety show or even an original piece of work The Performance is designed to be flexible and inclusive giving teachers the opportunity to tailor the exam to their students

Technical Skills Demonstration

Short exercises in acting, singing and dancing. This assessment is to encourage a deeper understanding and proficiency of the technical skills required as a musical theatre performer through a group workshop style assessment

Understanding and Reflection
