RSL（Rockschool Ltd）於1991創立，為全球第一個專為流行音樂而設之樂器等級考試。獲英國政府資歷及考試評審局（Ofqual）、教學大綱考試與評估委員會（CCEA）、蘇格蘭學歷管理委員會（SQA）等高等教育機構認証，是全球認可的音樂考試。 6-8級考試均可以計算為UCAS學分，幫助考生持續進修。
RSL 於1991年由Mr. Norton York與Dr. Simon Pitt於倫敦成立，為大眾提供古典音樂以外的音樂等級考試為目標，成為全球第一個專為流行音樂而設之樂器等級考試。 成功發展英國本土市場後，RSL致力將流行音樂等級考試帶到世界各地，至今已經於全球超過40個國家／地區提供Rockschool考試。 香港亦於大約20年前引入Rockschool考試，Rockschool香港辦公室亦於2012年成立，現與香港及澳門300多間中心以及數百名導師合作推廣Rockschool，當中包括：通利琴行、Parkland Music、青苖琴行、Ricky Music Factory、Guitar Go等等。
2018年，RSL更獲得由英國皇室頒贈予英國年度最佳中小企的最高殊榮，有五十多年歷史的《Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade》大獎。
