Receive your certificate
Following your training, you will receive a certificate of attendance. You’ll also be able to access our supporting resources via our Learning Management System for 12 months.
Programme Content & Certification
Suitable for newly graduated students of creative subjects, those looking to start teaching in between gigs / performances etc., or established instrumental music and performing arts teachers looking for new ideas or to keep up with current trends in creative arts education!
The information covers key pedagogical approaches and practical business advice for developing your teaching practice. This introduces the ideas and concepts ultimately needed to undertake the ‘formal’ RSL teaching qualifications at a later stage.
Topics include:
- What is Teaching and Learning?
- Introduction to Pedagogical Approaches, including: V.A.R.K. and I.W.Y.
- Using Feedback
- Assessment Types
- Safeguarding
- How to better commercialise your teaching skills
In-person Delivery
Duration: 5 hours delivered in 2 sessions (10:00 – 16:00)
Cost: £100 per candidate (usually £200!)
Resources: All resources provided in our BeeBop LMS. Access available for 12 months.
Certification: After successfully attending the session, a certificate of attendance can be awarded.
